Thank you to everyone who came along to the Open Studio events in 2024 - we had a lovely time welcoming you all and sharing our art with you. Dates for 2025 will be available soon.

Ruth, Sue and Jen

I’m delighted that fellow artists, Sue Boyer and Jennifer Lacey will once again join me in 2025 for open days at my Spring Street Studio. All artworks on display will be for sale, along with greeting cards, unique gifts, and jams and relishes.

We will demonstrate our techniques and provide you with tips and tricks in our chosen mediums. This is a great opportunity to see how beautiful monoprints are created using a gel plate and how Sue creates her beautiful fused glass pieces.

If you would like to be added to the mailing list for events and workshops, please contact us and provide your details. We’ll be very happy to add you to the list.

  • More about me and my work HERE

  • Sue is an accomplished fused glass artist, and I’m thrilled to have her work included in my open studio event.

  • Jennifer completed her training as a Visual Arts teacher (Bachelor of Education) in Newcastle and further training (Graduate Diploma of Educational Studies) at the University of New England. She studied painting, drawing, ceramics, fibre arts, design, photography, and printmaking. She has an extensive background in teaching art in schools and delivers art workshops at the Orange Art Society.

Jennifer is interested in exploring the intrinsic aesthetic qualities found in nature and expressing the inherent beauty of design elements, particularly as expressed in their relationship to each other. Her favourite artworks are the paintings of the early Renaissance, 17th century Dutch genre and still life and most of all, the Australian painter Fred Williams.
